Hello Fall

A NOTE FROM ELIZABETH HENGEL

October is the official start of fall here at Wild Wisco Waters which means we are nearing the finish line for our 2021 season. While most outfitters close their doors after Labor Day we know that September and October have so much to offer for river rats like us and love to extend our season to include some of the best months for outdoor recreation in Wisconsin. If you've never paddled on a sunny September day or witnessed fall colors reflect off the river then friends you have a couple of paddle trips to add to your bucket list.

Without spoiling your whole trip I thought I'd share some highlights of paddling in the off-season.

  • Reduced Traffic - peace and quiet from boating noise

  • Bird Migration - hear and see diverse birds heading south

  • The Fishing - they love to bite in the fall

I assure you that paddle season doesn't end after Labor Day. We invite you to come and experience it for yourself.
